Weight lifting workouts are largely followed by men and boys who fascinate a good and strong physic. Weight lifting workouts involve various workout routines, which are drafted for individuals with different strengths and body features. Workout routines refer to what exercises are to be done, how many sets and how many repetitions are to be done for each muscle.

A proper workout split is very essential to get the best results from the weightlifting workouts. On the other hand over training can consequent to a serious muscle injury. Doing chest exercises on Monday, triceps on Tuesday, followed by shoulders on Wednesday over trains the triceps, because almost every chest and shoulder exercise works up the triceps secondary, and every back exercise works up the biceps secondary. Thus it is advisable to separate those muscles that are apart, preventing over training. For example it would be more useful if chest and biceps is worked out on Monday, triceps on Wednesday, shoulders on Friday and back can be worked out on Wednesday or Friday.

Similarly most trainers recommend doing chest and triceps on Monday, shoulders on Thursday and back and biceps on Friday. A two day schedule can be followed wherein one can workout chest, triceps and shoulders on the same day, biceps and back on the other day. This would also prove beneficial as the secondary muscles get worked up that day, because one is doing it anyway.

Once the basics of the workout are understood individuals can create their own workout schedule, or can even take references from the Internet, which provides with various workout schedules that are drafted by specialist therapists and trainers. While doing a workout it is advisable to do 6-10 repetitions per set, and the repetitions should be reduced as weight is decreased.

So the key to gain the best results from weightlifting exercises is the workout schedule, and a disciplined working will always yield fast and good results.
